Introduction
At Hearsay, we strive to deliver the best possible experience for our users. In the process of improving and optimizing our product, we conducted extensive research and collected usability feedback from our user base. We discovered that in order to deliver a product that would satisfy the needs of our users, our information architecture and navigation needed to be redesigned from the ground up. These changes are a result of all the research we conducted and feedback we received, and we will continue to improve upon your experience going forward. What is Information Architecture?
Information architecture refers to how things are structured, organized, and named in a user interface. The information architecture of an interface affects how users search for information, navigate systems, and complete tasks.
In this release, Hearsay is focused on improving navigation and creating better names for different parts of the navigation, and how these improvements affect usability and experience.
How will this improve my experience?
In our testing, we used a measure called the success rate to determine how often users could successfully navigate to the correct place in Hearsay to achieve their most important tasks.
We studied users' success in both the new and legacy design.
By using Hearsay’s new information architecture, people found their way to important tasks at a rate 2x better than with our legacy information architecture.

The guide below will help you find what you need in Hearsay’s new information architecture. It is divided by product type based on the legacy navigation. Each page has the old navigation path and the new navigation path to cross reference where something was and where it is now, along with screenshots of the new structure. Please note, if you don’t have a product enabled, you will not see any tabs or menu items related to that product in your Hearsay Desktop environment.
These changes to the Hearsay experience will occur on May 15, 2023.

Home Screen
