Updating Your Trusted Sites Settings in Internet Explorer

 

For optimal performance of the Hearsay Social application, we suggest using either Google Chrome or Firefox.

You can download either Firefox at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/, or Chrome at https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/ for your use of Hearsay Social.

However, if you are using Internet Explorer and you are seeing a blank screen, or a "Sign In, Get Social" window, when attempting to connect your social accounts to Hearsay, this is a red flag that your internet browser's trusted sites settings must be updated.

To fix:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click the Tools button (depending on your version of Internet Explorer this may be a gear icon)
  3. Click Internet options
  4. Click the Security tab
  5. Click Trusted sites
  6. Click the Sites button

 

Please add the following URLs (verbatim and individually) to your trusted sites queue. Once you are done adding these, please reattempt to connect your social accounts to Hearsay.
