You can block Hearsay from crawling social media activity and posts originating from the native network (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram apps and websites) and opt to only capture social media activities that occur within the Hearsay platform.
To enable this functionality in the Administration view:
- In the side menu, click Settings.
- From the Organization Settings tab, optionally select the applicable part of the hierarchy to apply the rule to, or leave it set to All Hierarchies.
- On the Review & Archive tab, configure the setting Block Native Social Activity Crawling to Enabled.
Now, Hearsay will only send activities that occur within the platform to Compliance, and will ignore any activities the user performs on the network.
