For organizations not utilizing Sites, Yext's third-party sites publishing makes it simple for advisors and agents to maintain engaging, search-optimized websites.
Content can be published directly from the content library to third-party websites (not provided by Yext) including Yext, Veriday and more. By leveraging the same publishing workflows utilized for Social, advisors and agents can keep their websites topical, increase awareness and drive leads to their practice.
To publish content from third-party sites, Yext and the Sites provider must be integrated. To begin initial discovery discussions, please contact your Yext account team to ensure that any integration meets the specific requirements of your organization. Once integrated, admins will need to enable the new channel before publishing by following the steps below.
1. From the Administration view, select Settings > Organization Settings. If needed, select the hierarchy from the dropdown. Then select the Networks tab (default).
2. From the Available Account Types section, toggle the dropdown next to Third Party Site to Enabled. The page will update automatically.
When third-party sites have been enabled, they will appear within the content publisher as an available channel. With just one click, advisors and agents can share content to both Social and the Web simultaneously, using the same Social publishing workflow they are already familiar with.
Content published to third-party sites will be available with full meta-data in the Yext activity API, where it can be selected via integration with a third-party sites provider. Supervision and archiving workflows can be configured to align with your organizational processes to ensure you meet the highest compliance standards.
FAQs
Q: How is it enabled?
Third-party sites publishing is enabled via integration with our APIs. To get started, discuss setting up a discovery and scoping review with your account team.
Q: Do you authenticate to the third-party site and publish directly?
A: No, we publish to a publicly available API where the third-party sites provider can pick up the content to publish. This allows us to be an agnostic third-party sites provider.
Q: Are all Social content-publishing capabilities available?
A: No, suggested content, original content, and Yext content are available for publishing to third-party sites. Campaigns (relative and dynamic) will be added as a future enhancement.
