Each user will need to individually login to the Embedded Relate widget in Salesforce upon first installation, or after troubleshooting issues. Depending on organizational preferences, two login methods will be available:
Logging in with Company Credentials (SSO)
Once enabled, users will be redirected to their SSO login flow when they select Log in with Company Credentials in the Embedded Relate widget in Salesforce.
Logging in with a Hearsay-associated email address
To login to Embedded Relate using your Hearsay-associated email address:
- Log into Salesforce
- Open any object record page (such as a Contact page or the Salesforce Home page) where the Hearsay Embedded Relate widget has been added.
- In the widget, select Log in with email address
- In the widget, enter the email address associated with your Hearsay account.
- Click Continue
- Click on the link to access your Hearsay activation code. You may need to login to your Hearsay account, if you aren’t already logged in.
- Copy the activation code from the Hearsay Desktop settings page.
- Paste the Hearsay activation code in the Embedded Relate widget in Salesforce and click Connect.
