New User Onboarding in Embedded Relate for Salesforce

New users can accept Hearsay’s Terms of Service, select their business number, and start texting in the Embedded Relate widget, if configured by your administrator. To complete the onboarding process in Salesforce:

  1. In Salesforce, go to the Hearsay Conversations tab, or navigate to the Hearsay Relate widget on your home screen. 
  2. Log in to Hearsay using the Company Credentials options. Do not use any other login options that may be available. You will be redirected to your organization’s SSO login portal. Complete the SSO flow.

  1. After completing the SSO flow, you’ll be directed back to Salesforce. In the Hearsay Relate widget, click Read and Accept to view Hearsay’s Term of Service.

  1. A Hearsay Terms of Service popup opens. If you accept the terms, check the confirmation box, and click Accept.

  1. Enter your preferred area code for your business number, then click Search for Numbers

  1. The system will share a list of available business numbers. Select a number, then click Select Number.
    If no numbers are available for your chosen area code, you will be shown alternate numbers from neighboring areas. To try a different area code, click Cancel, then enter another area code in the search box.

  1. Confirm your number selection. After confirming, your number can’t be changed.

  1. The system will take a few seconds to set up your new number. Do not close or navigate away from this window.

  1. You will receive a confirmation message after the number has been set up. Click Done to complete the onboarding flow.
