The Out of Office Automatic Response feature enables users to set a custom reply that’s automatically sent to all incoming messages when turned on. Only one automatic response is sent to a conversation within a 24-hour period. The Out of Office response overrides the Working Hours response when enabled, so contacts only receive the Out of Office message.
To set and enable the Out of Office Automatic Response on Embedded Relate for Salesforce:
- In the Hearsay Relate widget, next to your profile picture, click the Settings icon.
- An Out of Office Replies pop-up opens.
- In the pop-up,
- Check the box to enable Out of Office automatic replies.
- Add or edit the Out of Office message.
- Optional Voice-call enabled users can choose to send calls to voicemail while out of office by checking the box.
- Click Save
Once enabled, a banner appears in the Hearsay Relate widget informing users that the Out of Office Automatic Response is enabled. Users can disable the Out of Office Automatic Response by clicking End Out of Office in this banner, or by clicking on the Settings icon in the widget and disabling the toggle.
