Suspending or canceling a workspace grants only limited access to a workspace owner, which can be temporary or permanent. A reason for suspending/canceling the workspace might be that the workspace owner needs to renew their organization's privacy policy agreement before they can continue using the software. When a workspace is suspended or canceled, the following happens:
Suspending the workspace
Suspending the Workspace puts the workspace in a limited access mode. Workspace users will be restricted to the message indicating the reason for the suspension, additionally Workspace owner will be allowed to connect and disconnect Accounts and invite or remove users from the Workspace. Compliance Crawl will run regularly for this Workspace as long as the Account(s) remains connected and/or authenticated.
Cancelling a workspace
Cancelling a workspace shuts down the workspace and disconnects all users from it; however it still appears in your Workspaces and Accounts page. Users will still exist in Yext as long as they are connected to another workspace. A user will only be canceled if they are no longer associated with any Workspaces.
If you need to completely deactivate a user or workspace, see Deactivating a User.
To cancel/suspend a workspace follow the steps below.
1. In the Administration view, select Organization > Workspaces & Accounts.
2. Click on the Workspace name, and in the Actions section, click Cancel Workspace.
