Organizations without voice-calling enabled for their Relate numbers can now add a custom recorded message for incoming calls. This message can inform callers that the number is not voice-enabled and provide an alternate contact number. The recorded message can be configured at the hierarchy level, allowing different branches or locations to provide their specific contact information. Individual workspaces can't be given a unique recorded message. Organizations can choose from three message types:
- Custom MP3 audio recording from client organization
- Text-to-speech message based on text provided by client organization
- Default message from Yext saying “this number is not available for voice phone calls”
The Yext default message plays if no custom message is provided.
If voice is enabled for your organization but the user does not have the Relate mobile app downloaded and configured, the contact will hear a default message.
To add and configure your recorded message, send an email to support@hearsaycorp.com and include “Enable recorded message for non-voice-enabled Relate numbers” in the subject line. In the email, please provide your recorded message and any questions that you may have.
