Deleting and Restoring Contacts on Desktop and Mobile App

Directly from the Hearsay Contacts page, members of a workspace can easily Remove unnecessary or outdated contacts. They also have the ability to Restore any contact's information that they want to bring back into their book of business after it’s been deleted. And in order to save time, they will be able to do these two actions in Bulk via desktop when necessary.

Deleting and Restoring a Single Contact on Desktop

  1. A workspace member can Delete a contact by:
      • First, clicking the contact’s name
      • Then clicking the Trash Can icon in the upper right-hand corner of the contact details window and selecting Delete.

  2. After a contact is deleted, it will no longer show in the general contacts list. If you would like to Restore it:
      • Select the Deleted Contacts option in the Show dropdown menu.
      • Click the contact’s name, and click Restore in the upper right-hand corner of the contact details window.

      • Once the action is confirmed, the page will refresh, and the deleted contacts will no longer be visible in the general contacts list.

  2. To Bulk-Restore contacts:
      • Start by viewing Deleted Contacts under the Show drop-down menu.
