You can auto-subscribe new and existing users to a relative or dynamic campaign. Auto-subscription gives you more control in ensuring users are regularly publishing important announcements or relevant evergreen content. The following types of campaigns are best-suited for auto-subscription:
- Relative campaigns that include evergreen branded content.
- Dynamic campaigns for important news and announcements, like new product or service offerings.
- Dynamic campaigns with weekly or bi-weekly market or industry insights.
Auto-Subscription Best Practices and Enablement
Before enabling auto-subscription for a campaign:
- Ensure there is a detailed campaign description that lets users know exactly what the campaign is about in order to reduce the chance that they will unsubscribe.
- Check the publishing frequency of the campaign. It's best practice that auto-subscription campaigns only publish content a maximum of once or twice per week so they don't often overlap with other campaigns or library content.
When you're ready to enable auto-subscription for a campaign, do the following:
1. In the Administration view, on the side menu, click Create.
2. On the Campaigns tab, find the campaign you want to subscribe users to, and check the Auto-Subscribe box.
3. On the popup modal, review the hierarchies and number of workspaces that will be subscribed, and click Turn On.
If the checkbox is later unchecked, already subscribed workspaces remain subscribed while new workspaces added to the hierarchy will no longer automatically be subscribed to the campaign.
Subscribed users receive an email notification with a Review Campaign link, allowing them to view campaign details and opt out if they choose.
Auto-Subscription Reporting
