Suggested Profile Fields

With Suggested Profile Fields, admins can provide end users with pre-templated fields that can be added to end users' profile with a simple click. Examples of pre-templated fields include on-brand cover photos, company disclosures, description information, etc. and will vary by network. This is a great way to help get end users' profiles into an approved state with the least amount of back and forth with compliance.

Creating Suggested Profile Fields

1. Log into Yext. From the Administration view, click the Create tab. Choose Suggested Profiles > Create Profile.

3. For organizations creating suggested fields for a particular hierarchy, choose the Region from the dropdown or leave it set at All Hierarchies (All Regions).

Note: Select multiple hierarchies by clicking Add and selecting additional regions. Click on the X to delete regions you need to remove.

4. Choose a Social Network from the dropdown.

5. In the Field dropdown, all fields available for that specific network will appear as an option. Select the profile field you are suggesting content for from the dropdown. Note: Fields will vary based on the network you’ve selected.

6.  In the Content field, Type the information you wish your end users to include on their profile. Then click Create to finish the process.

Now, when your end-users attempt to update their profile or page information in Yext, they'll have a ‘Show Suggested’ option under the profile field. Clicking it will populate all admin-created suggestions, allowing end-users make a selection and submit their profile for final approval.
